Conductor of the Boston Philharmonic

Benjamin Zander has been the conductor of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra since its formation in 1979. He is also the conductor of Bostons renowned Youth Philharmonic Orchestra. For the past thirty years, he has been a professor at the New England Conservatory of Music. He has taught Master Classes all over the world and has been a visiting professor at some of the finest educational institutions. His recordings with both the Boston Philharmonic and the Youth Philharmonic are very highly acclaimed, and his work with the Youth Philharmonic has been featured in four one-hour specials on American public television.
